Terms and Conditions

The terms of service detailed here aim to give you as much information as possible and outline the terms and conditions between you and The Bare Concept for all bookings. Please read them carefully, those who make their reservations accept the following terms and conditions.

 

Booking

It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained therein are correct.

The Bare Concept lists what is included on the Retreats page. Airfare, tips and travel insurance is rarely included.

 

Reservation

To reserve your place on a retreat please complete the payment of the non- refundable deposit specific to your retreat. The reservation will not be considered effective until we confirm via email that we have received the deposit payment correctly.

 

Deposit

You shall pay The Bare Concept a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit in the sum of 50% of the total amount due for each person named in the reservation.

 

Payment

The balance monies due shall be paid by you to The Bare Concept no less than 1 week before the retreat. Payment can be made via bank transfer. Details provided on request. If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date The Bare Concept reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit and accept new reservations for your space. If you do not think you can pay in time, please contact us via email.

The Bare Concept must receive the exact amount on the web at the time of booking, regardless of changes in currency or third party charges at the time of payment or transfer. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, please inform your bank that all transfer fees owed to charge you, to prevent that The Bare Concept receive diminished amount. Please indicate the name of the retreat and retreat date as a reference. We will contact you when we have received the balance. In case that you do not receive news from us, please contact us via email, telephone or other means.

The Bare Concept does not store any banking data or share personal customer information with third parties.

 

Discounts

The Bare Concept reserves the right to offer discretionary discounts and this does not affect the status of any guests who have paid the full price and no discount will then become due to them.

 

Cancellation by you

You can cancel your reservation at any time. You can send us your cancellation in writing by email. The cancellation will take effect at the time The Bare Concept send you an email confirming acknowledgement of the cancellation of the reservation.

In the event of cancellation by the customer, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable, as mentioned above:

Cancellation 1 week or less before due arrival date, 0% refund

Cancellation 3 to 4 weeks before due arrival date, 50% refund of the deposit

Cancellation more than 4 weeks before due arrival date, 100% refund of the deposit

Any amount forfeited, which has not then been paid to The Bare Concept by you, will be recovered from you by The Bare Concept as a debt due and payable. Returns and refunds are usually performed within 15 working days after you receive our message of confirmation of the cancellation. Once the retreat has begun, you cannot return any partial retirement. If you have to leave earlier for some reason, The Bare Concept cannot repay any compensation. In Terms of cancelling the retreat once started, are covered by your travel insurance, it is required and suggested to make appropriate insurance claims.
We do not assume international bank transfer costs or any transaction fees for any kind of cancellation.

 

Amendments by The Bare Concept

Sometimes The Bare Concept can make some changes (example: class times, teachers or other arrangements). The Bare Concept reserves the right to make changes at any time (example: teachers, class schedule, other activities, etc.). In the case of accommodation change we will do everything possible to offer you a room of similar category. In case of any other major changes, we will inform you as soon as possible, if it is possible before your travel starts.

Due to teacher cancellations or other situations beyond our control, The Bare Concept reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered but we do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred, including airfare.

 

Customer Accommodation

In the event that the customer decides to downgrade their accommodation after monies have been paid, the customer will not be entitled to any refund. If the customer wishes to upgrade then the new price will apply.

 

Cancellation by The Bare Concept

The retreats of The Bare Concept require a minimum of participants, if that goal is not reached The Bare Concept reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure returning the full refund of any and all payments made to The Bare Concept in respect of the cancelled retreat. We reserve the right to cancel the retreats in all circumstances, in which case we will refund 100% of the money received by each user in a maximum of 15 working days from notifying you of the cancellation.

The Bare Concept is not responsible for any expenses or damages, either direct or consequential, incurred as a result of a trip cancellation including but not limited to preparation costs, visa costs, airline tickets, travel documents, vaccination charges, gear purchases, airport and airline taxes or any other expenses.

 

Conduct

The customer shall not use the property except for permitted use and shall not use the property for any offensive, noisy, dangerous, illegal, entertainment, immoral or improper purposes. The customer shall not do anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to The Bare Concept and its guests, staff or owners. The customer shall keep all The Bare Concept fixtures, fittings, furniture and effects in a clean and good condition and shall replace any articles which are destroyed or missing with articles of a similar kind and of equal value.

Breach of terms

The Bare Concept reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate use of the property or any of its facilities by the customer in the event of any breach of these terms and conditions. The customer will be required to vacate the property and The Bare Concept shall not refund payment or accept any consequential liability damages or loss.

Travel

All transport costs from home to our yoga retreat are not included in the price. The Bare Concept is not responsible for any consequence stemmed by cancellations or delays of any travel company you hire, or any irregularity in the documentation required for the trip. Transportation to and from the yoga retreat are not included, unless we explicitly specify it.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has all the relevant travel documentation and arrives at the airport in time. The Bare Concept can accept no responsibility for delay or cancellation of any flights, train, buses or other forms of transport.

 

Insurance

It is your responsibility to have travel insurance that covers any activity proposed in the retreat that you book as well as potential losses, cancellations, illness or damage and risks. You must purchase travel insurance that includes medical coverage. The Bare Concept informs you that you should send the document by email and to bring the insurance policy in case of any emergency. We recommend that all customers have adequate travel, cancellation and medical insurance for the duration of the trip.

 

Loss or Damage to Personal Possessions

The Bare Concept cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal possessions or valuables of the customer.

 

Health

We request that you inform us if you have any health problems before booking your place on our retreat. If you do not inform us about your health problems, The Bare Concept holds the right to cancel your reservation and will not refund any compensation. If you have health problems that may be affected by the activities of the retreat, The Bare Concept reserves the right to advise not to participate in it, and could be denied participation if we believe there may be a risk for your physical or psychological health. If you feel any discomfort, pain or injury during any of the activities of the retreat, the activity must stop as soon as possible and you must contact a member of The Bare Concept. If you continue with the removal activities there are chances of further worsening of the injury, The Bare Concept reserves the right to deny your stay and participation in the retreat, without returning the money. Although The Bare Concept take all necessary measures to ensure high standards of health and safety, some of our retreats may be located in rural areas where it is common to have unevenness in the ground, so we are not responsible for injuries suffered as a result. It shall be the responsibility of women who are between 12 and 28 weeks of gestation, send a letter written by her doctor that says she is fit to travel and is capable of performing the activities we offer.

 

Health and Safety

The customer must comply fully with all and any health and safety regulations introduced by The Bare Concept. The customer must ensure that he/she is medically and physically fit and able to use our facilities and participate in activities. Customers who have injuries or illnesses are advised to seek doctor’s advice. The Bare Concept is not liable for any injuries to the customer in his/her use of our facilities or participation in activities. A customer must always stop and rest if he/she is feeling any pain or sickness and inform the teacher of any previous injuries.

 

Passports, visas and health requirements

It is the responsibility of all passengers, according to the type of passport you have, check with the consulate where the application for tourist visa is required. Due to visa regulations and health requirements it can change frequently, it is recommended that you check as soon as possible whether the application for tourist visas or health requirements is necessary. The Bare Concept is not responsible if you or another passenger is travelling without proper health documentation and the correct passport or visa. In this case you should pay the costs of assistance to solve these problems.

 

Complaints

If you have any problem about your retreat, please inform the managers as soon as possible and they will help you to correct the situation. Please understand that The Bare Concept is not responsible for the behaviour of individual members of the group or other users that share the room with you. In the event of a customer having any complaint then he/she will not discuss this with any third party and shall notify the Retreat manager as soon as possible.

 

Website Ownership

The Bare Concept retains all copyright licence rights and sole exclusive ownership of the information, photographs and material displayed on its website. The material may not be modified, copied or used in any other way.

 

Usage

Any user of the website has to be 18 years of age or older and agrees to be entirely financially responsible for all charges and other fees arising from use of the website.

 

Links

The Bare Concept accepts no responsibility for keeping the website up to date and will not be liable for any loss by its failure to do so. We are not responsible for the contents of any links displayed on our website.

 

Our Liability to you

The Bare Concept is responsible for ensuring that the retreats we advertised on the website have the same service of the retreat you pay for, and these services offered will be carried out under a standard of reasonable quality.

The Bare Concept does not accept any liability for cancellations, threat of war, or delays. Changes caused by war, terrorist actions or Threats industrial action, civil strife, closure of airports, technical problems to transport, natural disaster, staff cancellations, unforeseen Changes in your Circumstances staff or other events beyond our control.

The Bare Concept is not responsible for any physical or psychological injury that you may have. You are responsible for the possible risks that you may have during a lesson. We are not responsible for any medical or psychological condition that you can develop during the retreat. We are not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.

The Bare Concept is not held liable for flight costs. The Bare Concept shall not be liable for any failures beyond its control. This covers natural disasters, war, ‘acts of God’, closure of airports, civil strife, accidents or failure to perform by third parties, including suppliers and subcontractors. The Bare Concept accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury or illnesses which may be received during the customers stay or travelling to and from The Bare Concept.

 

Acknowledgement of Risks

Although The Bare Concept has taken all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of all of its guests, you acknowledge that this activity has risks, including particular risks that cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique character of this activity. The same elements that contribute to the unique character of this activity can cause loss or damage to the Participant including accidental injury, illness or in extreme cases, permanent trauma, disability or death and also can cause damage to or loss of property. Throughout the trip, participants are responsible for their own safety. I (the trip participant) acknowledge and understand that The Bare Concept trips include risks of injury or death to participants. I agree to assume responsibility for the inherent risks that may be associated and those inherent risks not specifically identified. I acknowledge that participation in this activity is purely voluntary, no one is forcing participation and participation is elected with full knowledge of the inherent risks. I (the trip participant) assume and accept full responsibility for any injury, death, loss of personal property, and expenses suffered as a result of those inherent risks and dangers identified above, and those inherent risks and dangers not specifically identified and as a result of my negligence in participating in this activity.

 

Release and Waiver of Liability

Declaration of health. By accepting these terms of service, I (the retreat participant) represent that I have no physical conditions or medical precautions which would adversely affect my ability to take part in the program or other physical or cultural activities offered on The Bare Concept trips. I fully understand that my participation in the program or other activities could be injurious to my health and I voluntarily assume all risks related to such activities.

 

Personal Release

By agreeing to the terms outlined here and elsewhere on the The Bare Concept website I hereby release and discharge my rights and claims for damages or liabilities that may occur as a result of participation on a The Bare Concept trip, including but not limited to damages as a result of unexpected occurrences including those from weather, local political situations, wildlife or uncontrollable acts of God, including the risk of death. I release The Bare Concept including its owners, directors, employees, guides, teachers and partners from liability for personal injury, illness, emotional damage, incurred travel expenses or property damage I may incur as a result of participation on this trip. For the benefit of everyone on your trip, The Bare Concept reserves the right to accept or reject any participant at any time without liability, and in the event it determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that a participant is disruptive to the harmony of the trip, it may without any obligation to pay a refund or any other amount whatsoever, expel such participant from the trip. The Bare Concept will carry no responsibility or liability for any participant who leaves the trip prior to its conclusion or for any activity undertaken by any participant which is not included on the trip itinerary.

This information is used only for administrative purposes and management of the The Bare Concept website. This privacy policy does not cover other links to third websites.
